UK Gasket & Sealing Association members raise over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support at Annual Golf Day and Charity Dinner

Members of the UK Gasket & Sealing Association (UGKSA) have raised £3,185 for Macmillan Cancer Support following its recent golf day and charity dinner. The event brought together companies from across the UK’s gasket and sealing industry for a day of friendly competition and entertainment in support of a good cause.

UKGSA members took to the 18-hole course at Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort in Scunthorpe, before gathering with additional members and guests for a charity dinner and dance. Proceeds from the event go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity providing practical, medical and emotional support to people and their families across the UK living with cancer.

Simon Winfield, Chairman of the UKGSA, said:

“It’s fantastic to see our members come together not just to network and enjoy some friendly competition, but to support such a vital cause. Macmillan does incredible work for people affected by cancer, and I’d like to thank everyone who took part, sponsored, and donated on the night. Raising £3,185 is a brilliant achievement and a real credit to the generosity of our members.”

Katy McGory, Fundraising Manager West Midlands for Macmillan Cancer Support, added:

“We’re so grateful to the UKGSA and everyone who took part in the golf day and dinner. Donations like this make a real difference, helping us to be there for people with cancer when they need us most. Thank you to all involved for their fantastic support.”
