Flexitallic Celebrates Safety Milestone
Posted on Apr 11, 2019UK Gasket & Sealing Association Member, Flexitallic, has marked the latest significant safety milestone with an award from the Group Chief Executive Officer, Jon Stokes.
The award recognises the company’s UK operation, which is based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, achieving one year with zero recordable injuries during 2018.
The accomplishment follows on from a prestigious International Safety Award from the British Safety Council the company received for the second time in three years for its commitment to health and safety at the factory.
Jon Stokes said: “Our team in the UK in Cleckheaton and across our UK branches, continue to demonstrate that safety is a core value for the Flexitallic Group. Achieving zero recordables is significant and highlights the dedication and commitment of our workforce throughout the organization and they should all be very proud.
“Even more impressive is that the UK operation has won this award in two of the last three years and has only one recordable injury over the three-year span.
“Our employees around the world will continue to focus on safety, not only for our people and facilities, but in the products and services we provide our customers.”
