Consultation on draft SEAC PFAS opinion launched
Posted on Mar 26, 2026 Tags: Industry NewsThe European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is inviting organisations to provide information on the draft opinion of their Socio-economic Analysis Committee (SEAC) on the proposed restriction of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
The consultation launches on 26 March 2026 and is open until 25 May 2026 and takes the form of a survey asking participants to respond on the potential impacts of restricting the use of PFAS across various sectors. All non-confidential consultation responses will be published on the ECHA’s website.
The committee is expected to adopt its final opinion by the end of 2026.
