£1400 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support
Posted on Jan 15, 2019Following the generosity of all those who attended the UKGSA’s Annual Golf Day & Fundraising Dinner in September, we raised £1,400.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Michelle Jeffcott Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support said: “We are delighted to be UKGSA’s charity partner and much appreciate the donation of £1,400 which was raised at the dinner in September. Macmillan Cancer Support rely 98% on donations to fund our work and at a time when we are supporting more people than ever living with cancer, donations like these will help us to continue to provide vital services, helping people to find their best way through and live life as fully as they can. The £1,400 raised could pay for up to 50 hours of nursing.”
