Flexitallic expands its global reach with acquisition of Australian company
Posted on Aug 15, 2022The Flexitallic Group, a world leading static sealing solutions specialist, has extended its global reach with the acquisition of Australian company, Novus Sealing Pty Ltd,. Perth, WA.
Flexitallic has expanded its operations in Australia to support the growth of key industry markets, particularly, in the energy sector, by increasing its footprint across the country.
Australia is well-positioned in major industrial sectors related to current energy demand combined with resources driving major developments in the transition to new sources of energy.
The acquisition of Novus Sealing Pty Ltd., based in Western Australia, also dovetails with Flexitallic’s innovations in the advancement of gasket and sealing technology to support the need for increased equipment efficiency and emission control.
For many years Flexitallic has had a strong brand presence in Australia, through existing distribution and manufacturing licensing agreements with Seal Innovations (Motion Australia). This acquisition will strengthen the support and cooperation between the two partners and levels of service available for our customers.
Australia is a strong and stable economy with a wealth of resources to support the energy demands of the future combined with excellent links to all major industrial regions and markets.
Major areas of interest include the current and future strength in LNG, minerals and investment plans in the Hydrogen economy.

Novus Sealing, which has bases in Perth, Western Australia, and Bayswater, Victoria, will no longer operate as a trading company and all activities will be conducted by Flexitallic Australia Pty Ltd.
The full Novus branded product range will continue to be manufactured and sold by Flexitallic Australia Pty Ltd.
