Testicular and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

April is Testicular and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. We are therefore sharing symptoms of these cancers to help raise awareness.

Testicular Cancer

Each year around 2,300 men in the UK are diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, however, it is often curable especially if diagnosed early.

The most common symptom is a lump or swelling in a testicle, or a dull ache, pain or heaviness in the scrotum. It’s therefore important you check your testicles regularly.

For further information about testicular cancer, visit the NHS website.

Bowel Cancer

If you have any changes to your normal bowel habit have blood in your stool or bleeding, or are worried, visit your GP and ask about an at-home test.
