Seals Manufacturer Joins
Posted on Dec 13, 2021The UK Gasket & Sealing Association (UKGSA) welcomes Moontown Limited, a UK manufacturer of seals, as its newest Member.
Nottinghamshire-based Moontown were formed in 1996 primarily distributing PTFE Spring Energised and Hydraulic Seals, Metal O Rings and C Rings. After many years of growth and success, in 2012 they started to manufacture in-house continuing to expand and establish a reputation in the industry.
In 2020 they introduced their new “FastSeal” service and invested further in equipment, personnel and training and can now manufacture virtually any seal in-house.
UK Sales Manager, Steven Ratcliffe, says: “We are proud to be accepted into the UKGSA and look forward to a long and successful relationship with its Members. 2022 looks like another challenging year, but we have some exciting plans and cannot wait to share them with Members.”
Simon Winfield, chairman of the UKGSA and director of MacLellan Rubber, says: “We’re delighted to welcome a premium seals manufacturer to the Association; I’m sure our Members will benefit from Moontown’s technical knowledge and skills and I am sure that there will be opportunities for them to work collaboratively with Members.”
