How Employers Can Lead Through Covenant Commitments
Posted on Feb 05, 2026 Tags: Industry NewsEmployers across the UK have a unique opportunity to drive social change, support vulnerable groups, and build inclusive workplaces by engaging with a growing network of Covenants and pledges. These voluntary commitments, supported by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), enable organisations to demonstrate leadership in areas such as armed forces support, care leavers, domestic abuse survivors, autism awareness, ageing workforce inclusion, homelessness prevention, and social mobility.
Why Sign a Covenant?
Covenants are more than symbolic gestures—they are practical frameworks that help employers:
- Access diverse talent pools

- Build stronger, more inclusive teams
