Annual General Meeting 2026 – 17 September 2026
ALL MEMBERS OF THE UK GASKET & SEALING ASSOCIATION (“the Association”) ARE HEREBY formally advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association will be held at Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort, Ermine St, Broughton, Brigg DN20 0AQ at 09.15am on 17th September 2026 (before the start of the day’s golf) to which all members are invited to attend.
Agenda
The Agenda for this Meeting will include:
- Approval of the minutes of the previous AGM.
- Annual Report from the Chairman of the Executive Committee (verbal).
- Approval of the accounts of the Association for the year ending 30th September 2025.
- Nominations to the Executive Committee.
- Any other business
Elections
NOMINATIONS ARE HEREBY INVITED for Members to join the Executive Committee of the Association. A Member may nominate a named individual and a deputy to serve on the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee members do not need to be experienced as Directors, but should preferably have some experience of working within a committee environment.
The members of the Executive Committee are responsible for the policies of the Association and for the overall direction of its activities. The Executive Committee engages the services of Sharon Kendal who provides a full secretariat service. The secretariat attends the Executive Committee meetings and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Association.
The Executive Committee meets during the year outside of the Annual General Meeting. Each Committee Meeting is approximately 1.5-2 hours long.
