Advanced Technology Visit – 19 March 2020

We’re delighted to have secured a Technical Visit to Prodrive, a world-leading motor-sport and advanced technology business located in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
UKGSA Members and visitors are invited to tour Prodrive’s headquarters and discover the design and engineering that goes into their projects, such as championship race and rally cars to complex active aero systems for hyper cars, electric and hybrid vehicles.
Held on 19 March 2020, the tour will commence at 2pm until 4pm so visitors can experience Prodrive in operation, with cars and engines being assembled as well as talk to staff about their innovative engineering work in the automotive, aerospace, marine and other sectors where they work with businesses to help turn ideas into reality.
Prodrive is a multi-disciplined motor-sport business winning many titles across motor-sport including World Rally titles for Subaru, world sports cars and Le Mans titles with Aston Martin and Ferrari and British Touring Championships with BMW and Ford. For the past 15 years, Prodrive have run the Aston Martin Racing Team in world sports car championships.
In addition, Prodrive has spent the last 20 years developing innovative engineering solutions for businesses, working on ground-breaking projects for leading vehicle manufacturers with a specialism in electric and hybrid vehicles. What’s more, Prodrive design and manufacture advanced lightweight composites for a range of applications. They manage the whole process from component design and production of tooling to volume manufacture with CNC machine trimming.
