Advanced Engineering Plastics Visit to James Walker (Gourock site)

UKGSA Member James Walker, are hosting a tour of their 8,200 sqm advanced engineering plastics site in Scotland. With extensive experience in thermoplastic engineering, James Walker provide project management services to customers and offer bespoke manufacturing facilities from material casting to finished machined components. At their Gourock site they have the capacity to mould, cast and machine components from 10mm diameter to in excess of 2,000mm.
Having invested heavily in materials development and testing, they will be also be offering a tour of their laboratories where they offer standard material tests and factory acceptance testing (FAT). In addition, their high pressure unit, which they launched in June 2019, will be open during the visit.
Transportation from Glasgow airport to Gourock & to supplementary activities will be arranged for those who require it (see booking form).

Hotel accommodation has been arranged at the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theatreland for those who require it.
You may wish to combine this event with a visit to SPE Offshore Europe which is open from 3-6 September.
Cost:
The tour of James Walker Gourock is free for Members (up to two delegates). Additional delegates and non-members £10 per person plus VAT.
