Fundraising

At the UK Gasket & Sealing Association (UKGSA), we’re proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support as our nominated charity. Throughout the year, with the backing of our dedicated members, we raise vital funds to help Macmillan provide essential services to people living with cancer and their families.

How we fundraise?

Our flagship event, the Annual Charity Black Tie Dinner, is a key opportunity for members, guests and non-members to come together for an evening of connection, celebration and generosity. Alongside this, we host other fundraising activities throughout the year.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, sponsors and guests, these events raise both awareness and essential funds that go directly to Macmillan’s work, from emotional support and practical guidance to funding specialist nurses and community services.

Why fundraising matters?

Every penny raised helps Macmillan deliver their mission to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer. Whether it’s providing expert advice, financial support or simply someone to talk to, our collective contributions make a real difference to thousands of lives across the UK.

A benefit of membership

Being part of the UKGSA means more than just industry representation – it means being part of a community that gives back. Supporting a respected national charity like Macmillan is a meaningful way our members can demonstrate corporate social responsibility, raise their profile, and make a positive impact beyond the workplace. We invite all members to take part in our fundraising efforts, attend our charity events, and help us to continue supporting the life-changing work Macmillan does every day.
